Dr. Caleb Fundanga
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Caleb Fundanga was appointed Board Chairman of the Zambia Revenue Authority in April 2022
Dr. Fundanga is the current and Founder President of the Institute for Finance and Economics – IFE – based in Zambia.
Dr Caleb Fundanga was the Executive Director of the Macro Economic and Financial Management Institute (MEFMI) for Eastern and Southern Africa, from July 2014 to June 2018.
Prior to joining MEFMI, he had worked as Governor of the Bank of Zambia for the period 2002 to 2011. Among the many accolades bestowed upon him during this period were; Central Bank Governor of the Year for Africa and Global award by the Banker Magazine, a sister publication to the Financial Times of London in January 2007, Emerging Markets Magazine award of African Central Bank Governor of the Year 2007 which he received in Washington D.C.
Wamulume Kalabo
Chief Executive
Wamu, born January 3, 1966 was the initiator of the, ANGOLA ZAMBIA REFINED PETROLEUM MULTI-PRODUCT AND NATURAL GAS PIPELINE - AZOP /NAMIBIA-ZAMBIA OIL PRODUCTS AND NATURAL GAS PIPELINES - NZOP, PROJECT, in 2009. Wamu has worked and dedicated the past 11 years of his life in developing the AZOP/NZOP Project.
He was President of the Zambia Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, ZACCI, from 2004 to 2007 and has served on the ZACCI Board for 10 years. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration, BBA, majoring in International Trade and Finance, from the Copperbelt University, Kitwe, Zambia, 1991.
Subsequent to completion of his studies, he has worked for and with companies in the mining and mineral processing supply chain industry in Zambia for 17 years, the last 10 years at senior management and policy levels....
Munakupya Hantuba
2nd Vice Chairman of the Board
Muna Hantuba is a director and Chief Executive of Aflife Holdings Limited (AfHold), a diversified financial services and wealth management group. AfHold is a joint venture between Bifm (Botswana Insurance Fund Management), & Menel Management Services Ltd (a local investment company). AfHold hosts the lead private sector pension schemes administrator and by cross cutting measure the largest private sector institutional funds assets managers which has over US$500 million assets under its management. Muna set up the Financial Services Division of Anglo American Corporation (CA) Limited which created and has been managing the Saturnia Regna Pension Trust Fund from 1992. The scheme currently covers over one hundred and fifty schemes and growing........
Lawrence Mupeta

Lawrence is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Fellow (FIMMM) of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (UK). He holds a BEng (hons) in Mineral Engineering from Leeds University, an MBA, Post-graduate Diplomas in Management Studies, Strategic Management (Heriot-Watt and De Montfort Universities, UK), International Trade and various Certificates in business finance, management, project management, energy management, and health and safety management

Lawrence has over 30 years of experience. He is based in the UK and has spent in excess of 17 years in the global power generation market and has expert knowledge of thermal electricity generation, distribution and fuel markets. He has a wealth of experience as a business and management advisor with a high level of communication, leadership and negotiation capabilities.
Edward Baleni

Edward Baleni is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Member of the Investment Property Forum, Associate member of the Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE) and Professional Valuer registered with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession.
Edward has been a practicing surveyor based in the Johannesburg Area for over 25 years. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Property Investment from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land Economy from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.
Edward specialises in property market research, portfolio performance measurement, valuation of property for expropriation, registration of servitudes and wayleaves, rating.......
LUIS CARLOS DIAS RODRIGUES COELHO
Executive Director
Luis is a Mechanical Engineer with a B.Eng. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Technology and NDip. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Luis, also, holds a BBM – Bachelor of Business Management and Technology Degree - from the DeVry University, Houston, United States of America.
Luis has 15 years of work experience in engineering design, project management and installation of greenfield and brownfield manufacturing plants. He started his engineering career, in Pretoria, as a Trainee in the Engineering and Production Department of Amalgamated Beverage Industry - ABI – (Coca Cola Bottling) where he was involved in production and maintenance scheduling/planning, in 2004. Frank Chikane
1st Vice Chairman of the Board
Born January 3, 1951, Frank is former Secretary to the Cabinet of the Government of the Republic of South Africa serving from 1999 to 2009 and Head of the Presidency. By virtue of these positions, he was the leader of the Forum of National and Provincial Directors-General (FOSAD) which was responsible for Government’s strategic perspectives and all governmental operations, a position that exposed him to high level policy decision making and processes on the national, regional, continental, and international platforms that ranged from economic, through to public administration, socio-political matters, and in international relations.

Robert Kabwe

Born in 1955, Bob is a Fellow of The Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, FCCA, and a Fellow of The Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants, FZICA .
Bob has a Bachelor of Arts, BA, Economics, Degree from The University of Zambia, UNZA, that he obtained in 1980. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant when he obtained his Association of Certified Chartered Accountancy, ACCA, in 1985.
He worked for Deloitte & Touche immediately upon graduation from UNZA, 1980, leaving as Senior Manager 16 years later. At Deloitte, Robert Supervised and Managed Audits of various organizations across the spectrum from non-profit to service and to manufacturing. He also, worked for Deloitte & Touche, UK office for a year.
Manuel Alexandrino Joao
Non-Executive Director
Manuel, aka Nelo, was born in June 1972, in Luanda Angola. Nelo is an industrialist with investments in pharmaceuticals, agriculture and forestry, energy, finance and hotel and tourism industries. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education, with a major in World History, from the Dr. Agostinho Neto University, Luanda - 2016 and a Diploma in Business Management from DAMELIN School of Business Management in South Africa - 2001.
Nelo is Executive Chairman of Global Quaestor International (PTY) Ltd – GQI - a company incorporated in Namibia with investments in the Hotel and Tourism Industry, Agriculture Industry, Energy Industry, and Financial Services. In Angola, Nelo is Executive Chairman of Alexis International, SA. Alexis has invested in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Forestry Industry, Financial Services Industry and Materials Industry.

Christopher Mubanga

Christopher is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He holds an MBA from the Warwick Business School in UK. He has in excess of 22 years of construction industry experience while working predominantly for leading international consultancy and construction companies in UK. He spent his initial 18 months after qualifying as a quantity surveyor from Copperbelt University working for Minestone Zambia Limited in Zambia before moving to work in the UK Construction Industry in 1997. Christopher joined Warings Contractors Limited where he spent 7 years working on a wide variety of building projects of varying design and values. In 2004, he joined EC Harris, an international built asset consultancy based in London. He was seconded to British Airports Authority’s Heathrow Terminal-5 Project (T-5 Project) as a senior cost manager....

Chabala Nyangu

Chabala is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Project Manager with over 25 years post graduate experience. He Graduated from the Copperbelt University, Zambia, with a BSc Degree in Building Science/Quantity Surveying in 1991. He further underwent Professional Training in Construction Project Management at RWTC Institute of Engineering Technology, Aachen, Germany from 1995 to 1996.
